Eamonn Holmes made a cheeky jibe about wife Ruth Langsford’s weight as she prepares for Strictly Come Dancing.
The presenter and co-host Ranvir Singh were speaking about brand new ITV2 show Bromans on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain – which is set to be the new Love Island.
Love Island winner Amber Davies was then carried out by four men dressed in typical Roman attire.

Ranvir then said to Eamonn: “I tell you what they’ve got it easy, those lads. Amber’s tiny – they’ve got to carry me in a bit.
Shouting out to the GMB team Eamonn, 57, joked: “Can we have four more Romans? Four more centurions?”
Ranvir took the joke pretty well but was left shocked after Eamonn then commented on Ruth’s weight.
He joked: “It’s what I dread for Ruth on Strictly.
“She’s going to be the only dancer in history who’s going to require two males to swing her up.”
The Irish presenter continued: “I’m concerned! ‘Please welcome Ruth and her partners Romanov and… whatever… Hugo!”
Oh dear, Eamonn!
A stunned Ranvir hit back saying: “Oi! You leave her alone, how does she put up with you?!” before bursting into laughter and putting her head in her hands.
“She won’t know I’ve said it,” Eamonn said.
Lets just hope Ruth wasn’t watching the show this morning.
The 57-year-old is set to star in this year’s series of the dancing show.
Speaking about the stint, Ruth said: “I have dreamt about doing Strictly for so long, I can’t quite believe my dream has come true!
“The sum of my dance experience is throwing a few shapes at a party, I’ve never had a dance lesson in my life.
“Without doubt it will be the scariest yet most exciting thing I’ve ever done.
“It will be a welcome change worrying about my next hot move instead of my next hot flush!”
It’s just a few weeks until the show will finally be back on our screens and it seems Ruth is doing everything she can to prepare for the physical onslaught it will bring.
The star shared a mouthwatering clip on Instagram of her Sunday lunch proving she’s definitely on a health kick.
She opted for salmon, avocado, tomatoes, ham, potato salad and prawns.
One fan commented: “Looks good! Avocado is one of my favorite health foods. Good fat is necessary for those wanting to lose fat. Sounds strange but it works.”
Another said: “Oooo! That does look good though. Think I could put Sunday Roast on hold for once. Good luck with Strictly.”
She’s also been practicing her moves in her dancing shoes.
But it wasn’t with hubby Eamonn, she actually danced with their dog Maggie!
In the video Ruth can be seen sporting her Strictly shoes while holding Maggie’s paws as they dance to the Strictly theme song.

The Loose Women star captioned the clip: “My Maggie helping me break my dancing shoes in….I’m worried….she’s got more poise & grace than me!! @bbcstrictly #maggie #rescuedog #dogstrust #dancing #shoes #blisters.”
One follower wrote: “This is absolutely adorable…love it Ruth.”
“And its a ten from me Maggie,” another said.
Others were much more distracted by Ruth’s controversial fashion combination of socks and sandals.
One commented: “No socks and sandals Ruth please.”
“So I am loving the dog dancing but cringing at the socks situation,” another added.
