A former EastEnder’s baddie is planning a career change and wants to become an MP.
John Altman, who played Nasty Nick Cotton in the soap, has said he wants to make a change to the political system.
The actor says he is fed up with student debt, potholes and only rich people being able to afford education.

So he wants to make a stand and have his voice heard.
He said: “Someone is interested in putting me forward as an MP.
“So we shall see. Watch this space.”
He said he feels passionate about education spending as well as improving the state of the roads, after a cyclist died in Surrey last year.
He said: “There seems to be a lot of boys from Harrow and Eton becoming famous now.
“I think it’s very wrong that people can’t afford to go to college.”
He didn’t hold back when talking about previous politicians.
He explained: “Tony Blair introducing student loans was a disgrace. That is one of the top five things I would eliminate. I would put the money that they put into billion pound missiles back into education.”
The actor is still unsure which party he would run for.

John recently surprised his former on-screen mum June Brown during her BBC tribute documentary for her 90th birthday.
During a clip, John interrupted filming to deliver flowers for his co-star.
He said: “I’m sorry to interrupt.
“I have a flower delivery here for June Cotton.” he added. “Dorothy Brown. Dorothy Branning. I mixed the name up, rather.”
A baffled June said: “Who is it?”
John replied: “It’s Johnny!”
June was visibly thrilled as they sat down to reminisce about old times.
John said: “My real ma is gone, you’re the only ma I have left.”
