It’s been 10 years since EastEnders’ Danielle Jones was killed off in dramatic scenes.
In one of the soap’s most memorable deaths, Ronnie’s long-lost daughter Danielle died in her mum’s arms after being accidentally mowed down by Janine in her car.

Despite only being in the BBC soap for one year, she became a much-loved character and the night she died saw 11.5 million viewers tune in – resulting in a national power surge!
Lauren won Best Newcomer for her role, and went on to star in Sherlock, Holby City, Mr Selfridge and even in Casualty, opposite her husband Michael Stevenson (who plays Iain Dean).
However, the actress has had her hands full in other ways – she’s also a mum of three!

The actress, 32, regularly shares snaps with her three children on social media, alongside her handsome hubby Michael, who she married in 2016.
She has an older son Jack, six, and twin girls Emmy and Isla, who are four.
Most recently, Lauren been presenting the breakfast slot on Free Radio, but she still often gets asked about her character Danielle.

She recently marked her 10 years since leaving EastEnders with a post commemorating her last ever episode.
She tweeted her 5,427 followers: “EastEnders was my first professional job out of drama school and today marks 10 whole years since my final episode #eastenders #danielle @bbceastenders @BBCOne @RADA_London @DiederickSant @dominictc @Sam_Womack.”
Co-star and onscreen auntie Rita Simons replied: “Our little baby camel.”

Producer Diederick Santer wrote: “Gone but not forgotten! Great work on your first job! And what an episode. I don’t think I’ve ever made anything else which both delighted and enraged like that one did.”
When a fan asked Lauren “where she’s been hiding”, she replied: “On ITV mainly.”
