EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer has shared a heartbreaking message with fans after the California wildfires forced her to flee her home.
The actress, who played feisty Bianca Jackson in the BBC soap over two decades and now lives in Malibu, posted a photo of the devastation on Instagram.
At least nine people have died in the blazes ravaging the US west-coast state, with dozens more missing.
More than 250,000 have been forced to flee their homes.

Writing on Instagram, Patsy confirmed she was safe but said many neighbours had lost their possessions.
She posted: “Today Malibu was taken from us by fire. Our community lives on, we will build a new community, a new school.

“We are strong. I love our community. The love we have in our hearts for each other will rebuild this devastating tragedy.
“We are all safe and we are all alive. People may have lost possessions but the memories will stay in our hearts.
“It’s very hard to comprehend but it will get easier and time will heal. I love you all and I’m praying for all my friends tonight.”
In an earlier post she said: “Praying for everyone that lost their homes today. We made it out safe. Mother Nature … wow praying for everyone in Malibu & Thousand Oaks.”
The area is home to many celebrities, including Simon Cowell, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
According to reports, flames reached Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s mansion and Caitlyn Jenner’s home was destroyed.

Patsy played Bianca, wife to long-suffering “Rickaaaaay!”, in EastEnders from 1993-99 and reprised her role for a second stint between 2008 and 2014 before bowing out.
