Denise Fox’s poverty is about to be revealed in EastEnders when Patrick Trueman returns next week and discovers her dark secret.

Viewers have seen the former Minute Mart worker hit rock bottom this week after she ate some chicken out and a bin.
And don’t even get us started on that digestive biscuit.
She’s also been refused benefits and sold her beloved D necklace for a fiver after quitting her shop job following rows with the bosses.
Left with no income, Denise has barely eaten in the last few weeks. She’s pushed her friends and family away, her pride stopping her from asking for help.
She even walked away from a food bank after handing her food allowance over to a family that were being refused help.
But her problems are about to become common knowledge in the Square when Patrick returns and realises there’s something wrong with Denise.
She finally breaks down and confesses to Patrick what’s been going on.
The pensioner immediately heads round to Kim and Vincent’s to confront Kim about the state of Denise.

He gives her a harsh reality check and accuses her of being so wrapped up in herself, she’s failed to notice her sister needed help.
