Jay Brown is forced to confront his past next week when he meets a new love interest and has to decide whether or not to tell her he’s on the sex offenders’ register.
Back in 2016 Jay had a sexual relationship with a girl called Linzi who also sent him some topless pics of herself.
But he was horrified when he discovered that Linzi – or Starr as she was better known – was actually a school girl friend of Louise Mitchell and only 14 years old.

It all got really messy when Linzi’s mum confronted him and he ended up getting arrested.
He was then thrown out of the Mitchell house by Phil and told by Mick Carter that he wasn’t welcome in the pub.
With his life in bits, Jay pleaded guilty in court and as a result was made to sign the sex offenders register.
Next week Jay is rather smitten when a girl called Jessica arrives at the house to see one of the spare rooms he and Billy are advertising.
But he soon finds out he can’t tell her about being on the register because he’s worried she might move out.
Things get complicated though when Billy begins to suspect there is more to their new housemate than meets the eye, when she meets a mate who lives on the Square.
What does Billy discover and why does Jessica end up moving out anyway?
Later Billy asks her to lie about her reasons for moving out as he doesn’t want Jay to get hurt.
Devious Jessica spots a chance to make some money and tells Billy she’ll do it if he pays.
But when she goes to collect the money, does Jay catch them and figure out what’s going on?
Linzi actress Amy-Leigh Hickman recently revealed that she would like to return to Albert Square one day as her controversial alter ego.
Fans will remember Linzi as Jay Brown’s ex girlfriend who got him in serious trouble by lying about her age.
The now funeral director was 21 when he met Linzi, and the pair started dating, with him oblivious to the fact she was a actually still at school and only 14.
The actress told BANG Showbiz: “I’d never say never about returning. It’s weird because that show is still in so much of my personal life. It’s where I met the people who are my best friends now.
“I always associate that job with a lot of happiness. Never say never, I really enjoyed my time there.
“I see a lot of Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise Mitchell, Jasmine Armfield, who plays Rebecca Fowler and Shaheen Jafargholi, who played Shakil Kazemi.”
Amy-Leigh also revealed another connection to the show that some fans may have forgotten about.
When she was in EastEnders back in 2016 and 2017, her on-screen mum was played by none other than Lorraine Stanley, who now plays infamous Walford character Karen Taylor.
Amy-Leigh revealed that Lorraine playing her mum Thelma opened the door to her now more premenant role on the soap…
“Lorraine didn’t do much playing my mum but she’s so talented and she’s so good. I think they just saw her and thought, ‘There’s so much more we can do with this woman because she is so fab’.
“I’m so pleased for her because she is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet and because of Tilly and Jasmine, I always ask how she’s doing, and she does with me.”

With hints that Linzi might return to Albert Square, where does that leave Jay?
After slowly rebuilding his life after having to sign the Sex Offenders Register following his misjudged romance with the school girl, it seems unlikely he will be pleased to see his ex back in Walford.
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
