EastEnders SPOILER: Shakil FINALLY stands up to Keegan

It's about time!

Bad boy Keegan Baker has been terrorising Walford for a while now and it’s about time someone stood up to him.

Denise Fox tried to put him in his place, but ended up lashing out and slapping him and getting herself in all sorts of trouble.

But now it looks like his best mate Shakil Kazemi is going to snap and give his friend what for over the Bex saga.

Last week viewers were shocked when Keegan took revenge on Bex for humiliating Shaki, and it wasn’t pleasant.

After much speculation over what he was going to do, it turned out he doctored the budding singer’s music video into an x-rated clip.

With Keegan telling Shakil he’d used an internet cafe to make the video so it couldn’t be traced back to him, he was pretty pleased with himself.

But Shaki wasn’t so impressed and after weeks of standing by and letting his so-called mate get away with behaving horribly to everyone, it looks like he’s going to step in and sort it out – AT LAST!

Things are set to get even worse for the teens, and with the police getting involved in the drama Shakil is finally pushed too far.

Standing up to a friend isn’t easy and it’s not long before the boys resort to their fists and a fight breaks out.

Carmel walks in to find her son laying into Keegan and is horrified.

The boys are eventually broken apart, but will his actions have further consequences for Shakil? And will it make him finally admit he still has feelings for Bex?

Viewers will definitely be backing Shakil in the episodes as most are finding Keegan irritating to say the least.

Taking to Twitter, Emma/snowfairies said: “Someone needs to do something about Keegan such a nasty cruel thug”.

And princess shan agreed: “flipping detest Keegan [sic]”.

It looks like user eleasha might get her wish after she tweeted: “been WAITING for Shakil to step up and stop being a sheep of Keegan’s”.

He’s fast becoming one of the most disliked characters of all time, with Karina saying: “Forever having to remind myself that Keegan is just a character played by an actor because I hate him so much”.

Whatever we think of him, we know Keegan isn’t a guy to cross. Could Shaki have put himself – and the girl he loves – in even more danger?
