Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse may have scored the first 40 of this series of Strictly Come Dancing – but as usual, Ed Balls stole the show.
Actor Danny took on a Charleston to Puttin’ On The Ritz and people were amazed yet again by how good he was.
The judges heaped adoring praise on him and awarded him the first full marks we’ve seen on the programme this year, which we all probably expected Danny to achieve first.
Blimey Danny Mac. What a Charleston. Epically brilliant #Strictly

But the only thing that dulled his shine was being immediately followed by people’s favourite Ed, who danced the Jive with partner Katya Jones to Great Balls Of Fire.
Don’t mind me. Just going to be watching this part of Ed Balls #Strictly routine on a loop. pic.twitter.com/APSOeSBp8T

And all of a sudden, it was as if poor old Danny’s four perfect 10s had never even happened.
Ed Balls best not do a John Sargeant and quit. It would break my heart and be classic 2016 #Strictly

He may only have scored 23 points, but in the fans’ hearts it was definitely a full 40.
