Reality star Olivia Buckland and her Love Island beau, Alex Bowen are all set to get married this year – and she’s opened up to ED! about the dress, the venue, and her wedding planner best friend!
The TV star, who is the new face of W7 Cosmetics, told us: “We’ve sorted the venue, it’s in Essex, and we’re working on themes and colours.”
“One of my best friends is an amazing wedding planner so she’s helping out with everything which has been so helpful. We’re all collaborating on it together.”
Last year Olivia, 24, appeared on an episode of wedding-themed reality show Say Yes To The Dress.
On the show, she seemed to have found her perfect gown. But the model admits she’s changed her mind – a lot! – since then.
She tells us: “I keep changing my mind on the dress! I like so many styles I can’t seem to decide on just one. I’m a nightmare!”
She adds that her wedding make-up will be neutral, saying: “I usually like to go really glam with my makeup, so I do want to tone it down for the bridal look.
“I haven’t fully decided yet but it will be mostly neutral tones. W7 do a ‘Nudes’ lipstick range and there are some gorgeous shades in their new ‘Spaced Out’ palette, so I’ll be taking advantage of that!”
And whichever look she goes for, it seems that Alex, 25 – who she got engaged to six months after their 2016 appearance on the romantic reality show – will love it.
She says: “[Alex] does notice when I make an effort and always compliments me on my different styles. I’m lucky because he loves it when I don’t wear any makeup at all, but he totally gets it when I go all out glam.”
As for the hen do, the fun-loving star has downgraded her original Vegas plan.
She says: “For the hen do, we’re hiring a big villa in Mykonos. The plan is to start off really chilled so lots of pampering and relaxing by the pool, then we’ll probably have a couple of semi-wild nights out!
“I originally wanted to go to Vegas, but I’m much happier with the new plan and more people will be able to come now.”
The loved-up couple have bucked the reality-show trend of breaking up, and Olivia says their secret is that they’re just “really in love”.
She says: “We just genuinely love spending time in each other’s company. We live together now and that’s made it much easier because we both have crazy work schedules at the moment.
“But there’s no big secret, I’m afraid. We’re just really in love.”

And before their wedding, the pair are having a romantic holiday to Barbados!
On Friday morning, Olivia posted a beach shot on her Instagram, writing: “Haven’t been this excited for a holiday in AGES.
“Can’t wait to get away for some Caribbean sun. Back to my favourite place with my favourite person @ab_bowen”.
