Peter Andre’s wife Emily has said she feels like a “big sister” to his children, Junior and Princess.
The doctor is step-mum to Peter’s two kids – aged 12 and ten – from his marriage to ex-wife Katie Price.
She and Peter also share daughter Amelia, four, and son Theo, one.
Emily, 28, wrote in her OK! magazine column: “I think getting the balance right as a step-parent is crucial. For me, I tend to leave the disciplining up to Pete and often feel like a big sister, which works really well for us.”

She added: “Coming into their lives taught me a bit about how to be a mum because they’re so wonderful. I’ve always said to Pete, ‘If you can help me to parent Millie and Theo so they turn out like Junior and Princess then I’ll be very happy.'”
It’s not the first time Emily has spoken about her relationship with Peter’s children.
During an interview with ITV’s Lorraine last year, she said: “I love [being a step-mum] and this may sound quite clichéd, but being with them taught me what I needed to do before I had my own
“Princess and Junior are the loveliest children.”
Emily and Peter married in 2015.
The couple have chosen not to share photos of their children’s faces on social media.
It’s complete contrast to Peter’s kids with ex-wife Katie, who have featured on reality TV and posed for photoshoots since their birth.
Peter previously said he’d love to share more pictures of his children with the world, but Emily isn’t keen, so he respects her wishes by only posting images of Amelia and Theo when their faces are obscured.
He told Closer magazine: “I post photos of them because I’m proud of them and of these beautiful moments, and you want to show everyone, just like 99 per cent of the world does on Facebook – they put pictures on of their kids because they’re proud of them.
“I love doing that but I also understand that not everyone wants that so I’ve got to respect that. I get it.”
