Emily Atack has hinted that her co-star James Buckley had something to do with her being cut from The Inbetweeners reunion.
The actress shocked fans when she confirmed she wouldn’t be taking part in the show’s tenth anniversary get together, which was televised last December.
Emily, who played popular school girl Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 series, has now reportedly said that there was a lot of ‘snobbery’ around the Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited show.
She is reported to have suggested that there is tension between her and James, who played Jay Cartwright.
During a chat on Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast on Monday (5 February) she hinted that 31-year-old James had something to do with her absence.

A source told The Sun: “Richard asked about Joe Thomas, saying it couldn’t be him as he’s a lovely man.
“He then bought up James Buckley, and Emily hesitated and then shouted out ‘James [Bleep]ley!’ which got a huge laugh from the audience.”
The gossiper added: “Emily said that there was a ‘lot of snobbery’ and then said she didn’t want to say anything else.”
The 29-year-old first revealed she was given the chop in December. During an interview on Capital FM, she admitted she had no idea why she was dropped from the plans at the last minute as she was really looking forward to taking part.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star said: “I don’t really know what happened here. I was booked to do it, very much looking forward to do it. I think it was kind of the day before I was told I was no longer needed for it.”

But Emily certainly has plenty of other projects keeping her busy this year.

She has become the new face of Walkers crisps, alongside Gary Lineker, and is rumoured to be replacing Fearne Cotton on Celebrity Juice and she has her one-woman comedy tour, Talk Thirty To Me, coming up.
