There will always be a bit of rivalry in Hollywood, and one star has admitted to feeling envious of a peer’s achievements in the industry.
Emma Stone said she was jealous of fellow star Jennifer Lawrence’s early success before the two became friends.
Emma told Vanity Fair for a cover story on Jennifer that she thought the actress was “so great and vibrant and talented” that she would have a negative impact on her own career.
Emma added that she soon remembered she and the Hunger Games star are “completely different and there is room for everyone, even if it’s an industry that doesn’t really seem to support that idea up front.”
Now, she says she and Jennifer “really do love each other and care about each other as people”.

She said she knows they would still be friends, even if they didn’t have the same job.
In the issue, Jennifer confessed to feeling wary when her own fans approach her.

She told the magazine: “You might think you know me, but when you approach me you’re a total stranger to me and I’m scared.
“I get very protective of my space. It took me a long time to be able to do that. But if I’m eating dinner and somebody comes up and a flash goes off from someone’s iPhone camera, I am really rude to that person.
“Then other people at the restaurant will see and be like, ‘Oh, damn, I don’t want to do that’.”
The Oscar-winner continued: “Privacy is a full-time job and I work very hard at it.”
