The couple met while Emma was a presenter for MTV and Matt was in the band Busted.
Emma told Loose Women last year: “I called up Simon Webbe from Blue who was with him on the tele. They were on Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway together and I said can you pass my number onto him… [Matt] didn’t call me.”
But luckily Matt did end up calling her a few days later and the pair hit it off, with Matt proposing two years later in 2007.
The couple got married in 2008 and when interviewed by MailOnline about how they have lasted so long, Emma said: “We are just two people who still love each other very much. That’s it really.
“He’s still my absolute favourite person to be around and hang out with.”
It hasn’t always been plain sailing for the pair though, as Matt has been to rehab for his alcohol addiction in the past and Emma was worried about how it would affect their relationship.

Thankfully all seems to be bright and rosy for the two of them as Matt, 34, recovered and they have three children together: Isabelle, eight years old, five year old Ace and baby Trixie who has recently turned a year old.
Emma, 41, has made a name for herself presenting Big Brother and The Voice, and becoming a much-loved presenter on Heart FM.
She now presents The Voice Kids on BBC One and the current series of Big Brother, while Matt continues to have his hands busy with Busted as they released their third album in November 2016.
Emma recently posted a photo on Instagram of her daughter Trixie’s first birthday. She wrote on the post: “A year ago today this little angel joined us. When we thought our family couldn’t get any better, Little Trix arrived and took it to a whole new level. Happy birthday to my little saus ❤️”
In March Emma told the the Loose Women she isn’t planning to have anymore children. She said of Trixie: “She has just slotted in but because I know this is my last.
“I’m taking every single little bit in because I know I won’t do it again.”
