We can’t keep up with Rebecca and Chrissie White’s relationship. One minute they hate each other, the next they are snuggling up to watch films, then they are back at each other’s throats again.
This week the sisters’ relationship takes a turbulent turn when an argument spirals out of control and Chrissie ends up bloodied and seemingly lifeless at the foot of the stairs.
Ironically the violent disaster begins with a kind gesture – dad Lawrence gives Chrissie her mother’s wedding ring.
Rebecca offers to get the ring engraved, and is horrified when she manages to lose it.
He father is furious and the younger of his daughters is so mortified she confides in Ronnie her plans to leave the village. Music to Chrissie’s ears.
The sisters end up arguing again when Chrissie finds out that son Lachlan must stay behind bars and she blames Rebecca for it.
During this fight, she spots the wedding ring on a chain around Chrissie’s neck and realises she has been fitted up.
As Rebecca goes to grab the ring, a struggle on the stairs ensues and Chrissie ends up toppling over the banister. He fall is broken by a glass coffee table, which she smashes through.
Horrified Rebecca calls on Robert Sugden for help. But will he Chrissie to hospital, or will he be covering up a death?
