After deciding he will take on the kidnapper, he goes to meet her without the ransom money, but armed with a spanner.

He breaks into the garage and steals the tool, before heading off to meet the abductor with malicious intent.

Armed, Daz lies in wait for Amelia’s abductor but when she spots his weapon she flees.

Later kidnapper, Beth, panics when Amelia sneaks out and she races after her, determined to bring her back.

When she finally catches up with the schoolgirl, Beth tells Amelia about Daz killing her father. How will Amelia react to the news?

Daz spots them both and Amelia is torn when he tries to persuade her to come home and Beth tells her to run from the murderer. What will she do?

Daz is left bewildered when he’s arrested later for kidnapping Amelia, but will Dan, Kerry and Bernice believe he is innocent?

And will the truth about the real kidnapper Beth be revealed?

Amelia has been hiding out with Beth since disappearing from her bedroom last month, believing the older girl is her friend.

Recently viewers were left fearing for 11-year-old Amelia’s safety as Beth revealed she has a dark side.

Amelia turned to her new friend after discovering her ‘uncle’ Daz is really her biological dad.

While the two girls seem to be friendly, it later became obvious that Beth has an ulterior motive and is manipulating Amelia into rejecting her family.

She has also convinced Amelia that no one is looking for her.

In fact, that couldn’t be further from the truth, as her family are frantic with worry and have launched a police appeal.

More worryingly, Beth exhibited signs of violent behaviour when Amelia found her hidden mobile phone.

Accusing Amelia of betraying her, Beth turned on the youngster, smashed the phone against a wall and screamed at her.

Fans were worried that Beth is grooming and manipulating Amelia.
