After a busy Megan receives a call to ask her to collect Eliza from nursery, it’s not what she needs that day. She rushes off to get her and then speeds back to the village where she knows a client is waiting for her.
As Megan then goes off to take the meeting, it soon dawns on her that she’s left Eliza in the car.
She dashes outside, but discovers her daughter isn’t there and the car door is open. Who’s taken Eliza?

Jai is furious with Megan when he finds out what’s happened and does little to offer comfort to the mother of his child.
“Jai is always looking for something to use against her,” actress Gaynor Faye revealed to Inside Soap. “She thinks he’ll take advantage if social services get involved. He’ll want more access.”
But Jai’s also preoccupied with mysterious Nell – she couldn’t have anything to do with Eliza’s disappearance, could she?
We don’t know much about her other than she’s a carbon copy of Holly Barton and it’s freaky.
Viewers have reckoned for a while that she’s trying to con Jai by using his feelings of guilt towards Holly to manipulate situations to her own advantage.
But would she really have taken the little girl to punish him, when in fact it’s playing right into his hands in terms of custody?
Gaynor certainly thinks Nell is bad news whatever she’s up to.
“When [Megan] realises Jai has met Nell, alarm bells ring. She’s put her trust in him, thinking he’s turned a corner, but this girl disrupts everything.
“Megan doesn’t want anyone with an addictive personality around her child.”
So who does have Eliza? And will they return her safe and well?
With the police already involved, this is set to have serious consequences for Megan either way.
