The Barton brothers are the targets of a deliberate fire in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, but who’s responsible for the blaze?
It all kicks off when Finn Barton starts stalking his ex-boyfriend Kasim Sabet.
Their short-lived relationship ended earlier this year when Finn’s increasingly possessive behaviour became too much for Kasim to take.
Finn’s been trying to win him back ever since, with absolutely no hint of success.
But when he takes advantage of an airport run, he heads over to Kasim’s house to stake it out – Finn’s clearly been taking lessons in creepy from his mother, Emma.
Kasim catches him in the act and threatens to call the police, despite Finn’s desperate pleas to give their relationship another chance.
Flatly refusing, Kasim tries to tell his ex to just leave him alone, but Finn can’t seem to handle the word no.
Breaking into Kasim’s house, Finn trashes the bedroom, but his brothers catch him in the act and Finn is later arrested by the police.
When a shadowy figure is then seen pouring petrol all over one of the Barton brother’s taxis, and the vehicle is later found burnt out, has Kasim retaliated?

It certainly looks that way when the cops find Kasim’s sweater near the scene of the crime.
Finn confronts his former fella and demands answers, but Kasim denies he had anything to do with the arson attack. Finn believes him, but is he looking at his ex through rose-tinted glasses?
Ross Barton doesn’t believe Kasim did it either. He has another culprit in his sights – Finn himself.
Speculating that Finn started the fire to frame Kasim, it’s not long before the police get wind of the theory and ask Finn the very same question.

Emma watches on as her son is accused of the revenge plot, but will she step in and help her son?
Surely it wasn’t her who started the fire in the first place? So who was it?
