When will soapies learn that nothing can ever stay a secret in Soap Land? When Adam Barton and Vanessa Woodfield shared a kiss in Emmerdale recently, they were very naive in thinking they’d be able to keep it hidden from Adam’s wife, Victoria.

And, guess what, Victoria finds out. Of COURSE she does. While we can’t tell you exactly how she discovers the truth, we can tell you that it’s kicked off by Emma who overhears Moira talking about the kiss. Loose lips and all that.
Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria, told Metro.co.uk: “I think if your boyfriend or husband has got form with someone else, you’re always going to have a bit of a bee in your bonnet about it.
So I just think that it’s going to bring forward everything that they went through that time before – all the Johnny mess. So yeah, not great!”

She added: “Her initial reaction is disbelief and then heartbreak because of everything that they’ve been through – the disappointment of not being able to have a baby, then the “how could you have done this to us?” I think she’s heartbroken more than seeking revenge.’
Anyone worried that the current storyline would see Adam disappear from Emmerdale can breathe a sigh of relief though.
Actor Adam Thomas has spoken out about the exit rumours that have been flying around since he appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here last year.
The latest round of rumours were that he’d chosen a megabucks panto appearance over a future in the Dales.
Adam spoke to Digital Spy about the ongoing gossip: ”
There is no truth behind it. I’m happy here, I’m staying here. Life is good here, so I don’t want to move on just yet.”
But he did admit he would be keen to try his hand at a presenting role in the future:
“Bring it on! I’m happy, if there’s a show out there for me then I’ll happily be the host of it, I’m up for anything!
“But no, acting is my passion and my main thing. Right now I want to stay here and keep acting.”
