Emmerdale star announces she’s pregnant with twins!

The actress has an 11-year-old already

Actress Lucy Pargeter has announced that she is pregnant with twins.

The 39-year-old Emmerdale star, who plays Chastity Dingle, already has an 11-year-old daughter with her partner Rudi Coleano.

Delighted with sharing the news, she took to Twitter to say thank you for all the well-wishes.

A spokeswoman for the ITV show said: “Lucy Pargeter and her partner Rudi Coleano are delighted to announce they are expecting twins spring 2017.

“They will be long-awaited siblings for their daughter, Lola.”

The talented actress has appeared in Emmerdale since 2002 and competed in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2013, which Westlife’s Kian Egan won.

The Nottingham-born actress proposed to her beau Rudi just TWO weeks after meeting him and the couple planned a big wedding ceremony, but they had to put their wedding on hold when Lucy found out she was pregnant.

Her daughter Lola’s arrival changed workaholic Lucy’s life.

She only took three months off from Emmerdale to give birth and look after her little one.

She said: “As soon as I told the bosses at Emmerdale I was pregnant they asked me how long I would want on maternity leave. But I just wanted three months and then straight back.

“I couldn’t afford to have too long off work – I have got two mortgages and a car.

“Working is a big part of me and my life and I wasn’t happy to stay at home – I’m a workaholic.”

Lucy was also a self-confessed designer shopaholic before her daughter came along, but thankfully that’s changed.

She says: “I didn’t fit into anything any more so I spent a lot on her.

“I’m still a massive fan of shoes. But I’m not as much a fan of fashion as I used to be. I have my style and I stick to it.

“With the younger members of the cast they do try and drag me into the more fashionable shops.”

Just. Say. No. Lucy.

You’ll have two other cuties you can spend on soon!
