Rumours are rife that Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten is currently seeing gruff-voiced and newly single TV presenter Nick Knowles.
This is after they were papped looking up close and personal outside a hotel, after the TV Choice awards last week.
But was their relationship written in the stars?
Perhaps, as it has been reported that Gemma’s infatuation for the burly star goes way back.
According to The Sun, the brazen young lady has previously sent gushing Tweets to the star.
In one outrageously, er, steamy tweet she stated: “MrNickKnowles crying still. What strength. So beautiful the selflessness shown & your compassion. Quality and worthy TV. Bravo! #DIYSOS x”
And look at that – a kiss at the end of a tweet about his daytime DIY show. Hot and horny stuff, eh?

But wait, there’s more.
After he had thanked Gem for her kind and supportive words, she responded: “@MrNickKnowles no probs love, seems an age ago I saw you at ITV. Hope all’s well, keep up the grand work… I’ll buy waterproof mascara! X”
Wow, we need a cold shower. It’s like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, right? We can barely contain ourselves.
But hang on, there’s even more.
Back in March, after Nick had announced his split from his wife Jessica, Gemma ramped up the passion by tweeting him again on a public forum.
She wrote: “@NickKnowles the work you all do @DIYSOS is phenomenal. Wonderful people. Sat here crying! If I can ever help in any way say the word! X”
When Nick said, “thank you Gemma” in response, she replied: “pleasure love x”.
The passion is simply electric, no?

Nick’s rep says, “they are NOT dating” and that the pics of them together were, “just friends saying goodbye at the end of a fun evening”.
Naturally, The Sun has gleefully reported that Gem, who split from actor Andy Barnes last year, and Nick visited the Edinburgh Castle and attended a charity bash together.
