Emmerdale’s missing 11-year-old Amelia Spencer has been gone for long enough that everyone in the village is starting to think she’s dead.
In fact, in tonight’s episode, stepmum Kerry Wyatt voices her fears that the girl won’t be found alive.
But viewers know Amelia’s living with a strange older girl who has convinced her that her family don’t care about her.
And now it’s been revealed that the missing schoolgirl WILL be found by her worried dad and stepmum – but that won’t be the end of the story.
Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, was on Loose Women earlier today, chatting about the dramatic storyline.
“It’s not by any means over yet,” she revealed. “There’s another couple of twists and turns ahead.”
And she revealed that their efforts to find Amelia will pay off.

“We do find her,” she said. “But does she want to come home?”
In tonight’s episode, Kerry attacks Daz, who’s under suspicion of abducting Amelia.
And Laura said those scenes were difficult to play, not least because Mark Jordon, who plays Daz, is her real-life partner.
“I had to get in and attack Mark,” she laughed.
But she added that it is “lush” to work with her real-life boyfriend, despite the tension between their on-screen characters right now.
Fans have speculated that Amelia’s disappearance is something to do with Daz’s history in the army, when he killed a fellow soldier in Afghanistan in 2009.
