Coleen Rooney has just confirmed she’s home from hospital safe and well, along with her newborn baby Cass Mac Rooney.
Addressing fans on her Twitter account, the WAG wrote: “Thank you all for the lovely well wishes and messages. Really appreciate them. We are all in love with our Baby Cass who is home, healthy and happy. Xx.”
Minutes later, she tweeted again, this time thanking the staff who helped her during labour.
She wrote: “Thank you so much @LiverpoolWomens hospital, as it always has been with my other children, you were fantastic again.
“We are so lucky to have such fantastic and caring doctors, nurses, midwives and staff etc to look after us. I really appreciate all your hard work x.”
The Liverpool Women’s Foundation Trust hospital replied to Coleen, writing: “Huge Congratulations to you, Wayne & the boys! Thank you for your lovely kind words, we will pass on to the team. Wishing you lots of happiness.”
Coleen’s 1.32 million followers rushed to congratulate her, too.
One wrote: “He is gorgeous. Enjoy your weekend with him. Hope he’s a good baby. He looks it.” Another added: “Made up for you all, Coleen. Just what the family needed. Our midfield is going to be solid in 20 years, haha.”
The couple announced the arrival of their fourth son on Thursday morning and released a snap showing the tiny baby cuddling up to his besotted mum.

Coleen, 31, announced: “So happy to welcome our Baby Boy …. Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz. He is beautiful.”
They released a second image on Friday, showing Cass meeting his big brothers.
The pic, posted to Wayne’s Instagram account, shows Cass surrounded by siblings Kai, eight, Klay, four, and Kit, two.
Dad Wayne, 32, is seen smiling proudly behind his four boys. The footballer joked in his caption: “5-a-side team complete! Welcome to the world Cass!”
It’s been a tricky year for the couple, who have dealt with speculation about the state of their marriage. But it’s clear the pair – who were childhood sweethearts and have been married nearly ten years – are working through any issues and focusing on their family.
Coleen publicly wished Wayne a happy Valentine’s Day, posting a photo to Twitter of her husband and their three young sons standing outdoors.
Coleen added the caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my Boys… have a good one everybody.”
