Could 2017 get any better for fans of pop music?
Not only have Steps managed to make a massive comeback, but now Bananarama have announced their return too.
Yes, the 80s pop legends have revealed that they are touring the UK later this year – and the good news is the band is once again a three piece.

Not only that, everyone’s talking about just how amazing they look!
You may remember that in the 80s, the band was rocked when founding member Siobhan Fahey quit the band at the height of their success.
While she went off to create Shakespeare’s Sister, she was replaced by Jacqui O’Sullivan, who subsequently quit a year or so later, leaving the band to continue with Sarah Dallin and Keren Woodward!
Now, almost 40 years since they got together, the girls are back with a tour and perhaps a single.
Last night the group posted their tour press release and fans could not believe how amazing the girls who are in their 50s looked.
But it was Siobhan’s stunning look who has caught everyone’s attention, with many not recognising her to start with.
“Wow, the girls looks amazing,” one fan posted on social media.”They look younger than they did in the 80s. And Siobhan – just wow!’
Another gushed: “Bananarama look like the Sugababes. And who’s the new girl? OMFG it’s Siobhan!”
Meanwhile, one wicked critic sniped: “Airbrushed much?”

In a new interview with the Guardian, Siobhan has explained why she quit the band at a time when they were storming the charts with producers Stock Aitken Waterman.
“It was a combination of the fact that, musically, we’d gone absolutely full-on pop, at a time when I was feeling lost and dark and depressed in my life,” she said.
“I was obsessed with the Smiths. It had been a real pressure cooker, the three of us being together 24/7, for years. It couldn’t continue.”
But while Siobhan was having a tough time of it, Keren said she was in her element singing tunes like Love In the First Degree and I Heard A Rumour.
“I absolutely loved and embraced that album [Wow, the band’s fourth]. For the first time, I felt, this is what I’m supposed to be doing. Performing pop songs and letting go, just embracing it all. I was thinking: ‘I’m having such a laugh doing this.’”
The girls admit it took them ten years before they were able to speak to each other again – and reform in 1998 for a special Eurovision edition of Eurotrash.
“There were sore feelings on both sides,” Siobhan recalls.
“I felt really isolated within the band for a year before I left. And they felt betrayed that I left.”
And the other girls don’t disagree.
Keren said: “From my point of view, I just thought: ‘Oh fine, she’s married Dave Stewart and left us in the lurch.’”
But how it seems the bad blood is behind them and the girls are looking forward to getting back on the road.
