The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is unlikely to take after his father when it comes to his hair, it has been claimed.
A colourising expert reckons baby Archie could end up with dark brown hair rather than a ginger mop like Prince Harry.
And even though the newborn has only been seen on a limited number of occasions in public and in social media pictures, Dynamichrome’s Jordan Lloyd believes it is possible make an educated guess about the baby’s future hair colour.
According to Jordan, tonal values can be analysed in black and white photographs to reveal crucial details.

And he thinks that Meghan’s sepia-tinted Father’s Day snap could indicate Archie will be blonder at first.
Jordan told the Daily Star Online: “Looking at this photograph, we can see that Archie’s hair is very fair, and hair in babies tends to go lighter or darker for the first three years before going the other way.
“If I was to make a guess, we’re looking at a light blond now that may get darker with age, but given the Duchess’ mixed heritage, it is fairly unlikely that Archie’s hair will be ginger like Prince Harry’s as ginger hair is a recessive gene.”
He concluded: “I’d guess it will be brown, but only time will tell.”

It was reported earlier today that Harry put Meghan in a “difficult position” over the decision to ensure Archie’s christening this weekend is a private affair.
The couple are said to want to ensure Archie will be a “private citizen” – and his baptism will apparently not be treated as a media event.
But critics such as Piers Morgan have laid into the couple’s plans, with the Good Morning Britain host demanding ‘the public get their money back’ if the service takes place behind closed doors.
“Private citizens don’t get £2.4m of home improvements paid by the taxpayer,” he tweeted to his 6.7 million followers.
