Terence Beesley, 60, collapsed at their family home at the end of last month but the sad news has only been made public today.
A spokesman for the actor told The Sun today: “It is with great sadness that I can confirm that Terence passed away at the end of November.”
He collapsed at home in Somerset and could not be saved by paramedics after an ambulance was called.

Scottish actress Ashley, 48, met Terence, also a British actor, through work more than ten years ago.
They married in 2007 and have an eight-year-old son Francis.
Ashley was made famous by starring in Extras with Ricky Gervais and went on to have a successful career in America, appearing in Ugly Betty and films such as Arthur Christmas.
Meanwhile Terence has appeared in numerous British dramas including EastEnders, War and Peace and Midsomer Murders.
Most recently he had a role in ITV show Victoria alongside Jenna Coleman.
It is not known if the actor had been in ill-health prior to his death. An inquest will be held in the New Year.
