Fan girl! Katy Perry has a ball at Dolly Parton’s glitzy LA concert

Stars Ronnie Wood and Kylie Minogue were also at the Hollywood Bowl gig

Katy Perry was the ultimate fan girl on Saturday night when she went to a Dolly Parton concert, flooding Snapchat with video clips of her having a great time.

The California Gurl pop star posted behind-the-scenes footage of the Hollywood Bowl event.

Before Dolly even took to the stage, Katy, 31, shared a clip of the two of them hanging out.

In the Snapchat selfie giddy Katy says: “Hi everyone. We’re at the Hollywood Bowl with Dolly Parton. She’s about to go on.”

Later she posted a clip of her jigging around and munching on a hotdog in the VIP section while the 9-to-5 singer performed on stage.

In another she sang along with her pals as 70-year-old Dolly belted out one of her greatest hits, Islands in The Stream.

Whether she was dancing to Jolene with her friend or weeping when her idol sang I Will Always Love You, Katy seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself.

She was even tickled pink when she noticed that Dolly had apparently designated an area backstage just for her.

Pointing to a sign with her name on it, Katy said, in a mock Southern accent: “Shoo-wee. She sure is the sweetest. I didn’t even know about this. I just came to use the toilet and she gave me my own sign.

It’s not the first time Katy and Dolly have hung out. Back in April they wowed music fans by singing a medley of the legend’s songs at the American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Together the two ladies sang Jolene, 9-to-5 and Coat of Many Colors.

Katy wasn’t the only celeb spotted in the crowd at the Dolly Parton concert on Saturday.

Actress Kate Walsh and celeb personal trainer Jillian Michaels went on Instagram and Twitter to share videos of them singing along to her songs.

So did Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones who was backstage with his wife, Sally.

Singer Kylie Minogue also appeared in a photo with her British boyfriend Joshua Sasse who was wearing a T-shirt showing his support for legalizing gay marriage in Australia as he stood alongside Dolly.
