Emmerdale fans aren’t convinced by Rebecca White’s Post-Traumatic Amnesia.
As viewers know, Bex, has been in a coma for the past month following a car crash which also killed her sister and dad, Chrissie and Lawrence.

Their car span into the path of an oncoming lorry as they chased Robert Sugden, who’d taken baby Seb, to stop the Whites taking him to Australia.
Viewers also know that the fatal smash was NOT an accident, as Chrissie’s son Lachlan, grabbed the wheel and veered the car out of control.
Lachlan has been on tenterhooks ever since, knowing that Rebecca is the one person who could reveal his dark secret.
Rebecca woke up on Monday’s episode and couldn’t remember a thing about the accident, but then started screaming at Lachlan.
In last night’s episode, she escaped from hospital and headed to Home Farm in a taxi hoping her dad would pay.
When Robert and Lachlan caught up with her, Robert had to tell her – again – that Chrissie and Lawrence had died.
They managed to get her back to hospital where she turned on Robert, blaming him for the crash and asking Lachlan to look after the baby.
This is the same Lachlan she didn’t want round her son.
The doctor explained to Robert that Rebecca could be suffering from PTA, and they couldn’t be sure if full brain function – and her memory – would return completely.
Music to Lachlan’s twisted little ears, of course.
But Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to voice their feelings about Bex’s memory loss.
“PTA? Yeah right. More like WCS….writer’s cliche syndrome. Lachlan gets predictable breathing space,” wrote one disgruntled fan.
Another wrote: “Amnesia is real and it serious and I’m not being mean but I can’t take seriously with Rebecca.”
“How convenient,” said another. “Rebecca has a fruitloop turn to keep the Lachlan plot going even longer.”
And a fourth asked: “why would you Rebecca White or anyone for that matter despite being confused, terrified, having amnesia & a brain injury hug someone or an individual that they didn’t know, had never meet before? like Rebecca did to Joe Tate tonight …”

It looks like Rebecca’s memory is a ticking time bomb now, it could return at any moment – or not at all.
Lachlan has already started to manipulate her mind telling her he can be her memory, but what’s the rest of his plan?
