EastEnders dealt another shocking duff duff moment in Friday night’s episode with little Arthur Fowler being found unconscious.
The episode had been pretty hard going for his mum, Stacey Fowler, and stepdad, Martin, who spent most of it arguing.
After learning earlier this week that Arthur is likely to have inherited Brugada syndrome from his biological dad, Kush Kazemi, Stacey’s been in meltdown.
With the little one needing expensive equipment to help him, and Martin growing fearful over his wife’s mental health, things have been heated between the pair.
When Martin started checking up that she’d been taking her medication instead of just asking Stace, she blew her top and told him she was just a worried mother terrified her son was going to die.

Just as Stacey and Martin made up and settled down for a snuggle on the sofa, Bex came rushing down the stairs crying and screaming that Arthur wouldn’t wake up.
As Stacey begged her husband to check if Arthur was breathing, Martin ordered Bex to call an ambulance and then the infamous duff duff sounded.
But fans weren’t impressed with the storyline, insisting it’s “ridiculous” that Arthur is suddenly unconscious in the same week he’s been diagnosed when he’s been absolutely fine since he was born.
