It has been a long cold winter without our beloved Ant McPartlin.
But as the presenter gets set to return to work in the New Year on Britain’s Got Talent, it looks like he’s finally re-joining the world of social media – and fans couldn’t be happier.

Ant took to Twitter to encourage everyone to watch his close pal and Saturday Night Takeaway co-star, Scarlett Moffatt in her new show alongside Richard Osman.
On Friday night, the Geordie star wrote: “***exciting show alert*** Tonight ITV 9pm. Re-Play 2018 with Richard Osman. Play along and see if you’ve been paying attention to 2018. Enjoy! A.”
His fans were emotional over his return, with nearly 4k likes and over 150 comments quickly piling in to say hi to the recently MIA host.
One tweeted: “So happy to see you tweet Ant, hope that you are doing good, can’t wait to see you back on the tv lots of love ❤️.”
Another commented: “Hi Ant, nice to see a tweet off u x.” A third wrote: “Miss you Ant, can’t wait to see you back 😍.”
One more laughed: “Don’t care about the show, just love that Ant tweeted.”
The TV presenter has been famously silent on Twitter in the last few months. Apart from this comment, Ant has only tweeted once since mid-November.
On 22 December he revealed he’d been spending time with YouTuber, Alfie Deyes, hinting that they’d been watching some festive movies.
@PointlessBlog great to see you again tonight.

It is a much-welcome and much-hoped-for comeback from the veteran presenter, who has reportedly been reunited on set with his beloved Declan Donnelly in the last few weeks.
2018 was a rough year for the 43-year-old, who spent much of it in divorce talks with his estranged wife, Lisa Armstrong.
Ant – who has moved on with his former PA, Anne-Marie Corbett – also stepped away from his TV work following a drink-driving conviction, after he was involved in a three-car collision.
We missed him on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, where he was replaced beside Dec, 43, by Holly Willoughby.

We’re so relieved to see our Ant back in our lives. Even if it’s still only our online lives…
