Coronation Street viewers fear grieving Johnny Connor is on a downward spiral after he lost his temper and blew up at Jenny in the latest episode.
Johnny (Richard Hawley) is heartbroken after son Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) took his own life.
Wednesday night’s double bill saw him continue to struggle with his grief.
He snapped during a conversation with wife Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) as she tried to talk to him about her feelings after the death of her own son, shouting: “I’m sick to death of listening to you bang on about how much you know about grief.”

Instead of turning to his wife for support, he’s now looked to Liz for comfort and has admitted that he feels like smacking his wife to shut her up when she is trying to console him – words he isn’t ready to hear.
Viewers aren’t enjoying this new side of Johnny, but are blown away by the incredible performance of actor Richard Hawley.

Johnny’s pain isn’t likely to lessen any time soon, as his daughters are sitting on a secret that will destroy him – Aidan left his shares of the factory to Alya, meaning she now owns the business.
