They say Big Brother is watching. And, in Calum ‘Halfway’ Highway’s case, he really is.
Heavily under the influence of manipulative and mean older sibling Stuart, Halfway has done the unthinkable…
In emotional and frustrating scenes last night (Tuesday 31 July), he broke up with Whitney after becoming yet another victim to Stuart’s mind-bending games.

While some had sympathy for Halfway’s predicament, other BBC viewers were screaming at the TV as Halfway fell for his brother’s manipulative tricks.
Fans watched in horror as Stuart crushed his little brother’s heart when he lied and told him that Whitney had tried to kiss him.

Playing on Halfway’s insecurities, Stuart told his little bro that Whitney said she wanted a man, not a boy.
Poor Halfway came to the conclusion that Whitney had always been out of his league and decided to have a heart to heart with his girlfriend – and she soon realised that her boyfriend had been brainwashed.
But with Halfway loyally believing his brother despite Whitney’s protestations, she eventually stormed off with their relationship seemingly in tatters.
Is this the end for Whitney and Halfway?
Fans were furious with the hapless woolly-hat-wearing former soldier, branding him a “halfwit” and a “dork” for falling for his brother’s evil games.
One fan blasted: “Why on earth would Halfway even believe for a second Whitney would try it on with an ogre like Stuart?”
