The missing heist money has had fans of EastEnders scratching their heads for a good few weeks now, but viewers think they’ve found the culprit.
Bernadette Taylor is the current fan favourite to have pocketed the haul after they’ve spotted a number of ‘clues’ which point the finger at the paper delivery girl.

Ben Mitchell thought he’d managed to swipe the loot and stash it in a suitcase as he planned to do a runner to the continent with it.
But when he was stopped at customs, a bag check revealed he was actually smuggling a wad of Walford Gazettes.
Some armchair detectives think the papers are a big clue as to who has the money and who else would have access to a large pile of papers?
A paper delivery girl!
“I reckon Bernadette’s got the money, she’s had a very random storyline recently, playing chess? Which makes me think there’s definitely something else to her. She was the only other one who knew about the heist & she had a paper round – the money was replaced with newspapers,” pointed out one viewer.
Another guessed: “Bernadette has the money?! She was always listening in, and the money in Bens suitcase was replaced with newspapers, Bernadette does the paper round! #EastEnders.”
A third speculated: “Bernadette has the money. She was working at the Minute-Mart doing the paper rounds. She took all the money out of Ben’s suitcase and replaced it with newspapers.”
And a fourth said: “Bernadette must have taken the money she has a paper round and the contents of bens suitecase were fillied with news papers.”
If fans are right and Bernadette does have the loot, she’d better watch her back because Aidan Maguire will not rest until he gets his hands on it.
This week he thought Mick Carter had it after the pub landlord was able to buy the freehold of the Vic back for a cool £150,000.
He even had Mick kidnapped and driven to – er, the Arches – where he was interrogated.

Mick doesn’t have the money, but viewers are also speculating that Phil and Sharon have it after Phil made a comment last night about there being a ‘blood bath’ if Aidan finds out.
