Last night’s Emmerdale left us with quite the cliffhanger as gorgeous millionaire, Tom Waterhouse, revealed his true colours by confirming that he had a nasty plan up his sleeve for Debbie Dingle.

After making their relationship official and surviving a grilling from Debbie’s daughter, Sarah, Tom headed back to his trusty side-kick, Graham, who pointed out that he was looking quite the family unit these days.
Tom hit back with a sinister threat, saying: “You don’t dig a grave and leave it empty.”
Aaargh. So it Debbie’s life in danger? And why’s Tom targeting her? To paraphrase Nikki Graham ‘Who IS he?’
Well, Emmerdale fans certainly have a few ideas.
The most popular theory is that he’s not Tom Waterhouse, but Tom King – legendary villain, Carl King’s, son – seeking revenge for Debbie’s ex-boyfriend, Cameron Murray, killing his dad.
One fan tweeted: “I knew Tom wasn’t in this with Debbie honestly! Definitely Carl King’s son! #Emmerdale”
Another agreed, writing: “Could Tom be Carl King’s son who if I remember rightly was murdered by Cameron who was at the time Debbie’s boyfriend #emmerdale #revengeissweet.”
While a third said: “Carl king had a son tom could be his son xx”
Other armchair detectives were left wondering if Tom is somehow related to Cameron and has arrived seeking revenge after Cam died.
One Twitter PI suggested: “Tom is Cameron’s brother perhaps? my wife has suggested after tonight’s episode “you don’t dig a grave and leave it unfiled” hmm”
Another pondered: “So I’m guessing maybe Tom is a relation of Cameron’s maybe”
And a third guessed: “I think I’ve cracked it. Tom Waterhouse is CAMERON MURRAY’s son. He’s out to revenge his father #Emmerdale”
Stranger things have happened in soap. Tom also being part of the Tate dynasty is another popular fan theory, with one fan reckoning: “Tom Waterhouse is chris tates son from when he was married to Rachel and before charity I reckon #Emmerdale”
While another wondered: “I think tom Waterhouse is Joseph tate chris tates son!!! #emmerdale”

Definitely some interesting stuff to mull over there and whoever Tom is, it looks like poor Debs is going to end up with a broken heart.
