Last night’s episode saw Toyah drowning her sorrows at the Rovers bar after she worked out Peter is the one who gave the Connors the fake birth certificate that Adam drew up for Eva.
Hurt by the betrayal, Toyah told Leanne that she needed some time to herself, but was later seen looking into Susie’s crib while Leanne slept on the sofa.
Corrie fans were horrified by the end of the episode…
But while it looks like drunk Toyah might be the one to take the baby, it is actually Johnny Connor who has done the dirty deed.
Wednesday’s double bill is set to see Eva wake and find that her daughter is missing from her cot after being looked after by Leanne the night before.

While Eva is beside herself, Johnny is sitting in a hotel room holding his granddaughter.
The police promise Eva they will do everything in their power to get her baby back and take down Susie’s details.
Meanwhile Liz realises Johnny stole her keys to The Rovers and tells Kate and Jenny who are horrified to discover that Johnny hasn’t been taking his MS meds.
Back in the hotel room, Johnny is weak and struggles to feed Susie.
