As a singing contest, The Voice UK is always going to cause a few arguments.
However, last night, fans of the show were left fuming at not one but two of the show’s famous coaches.
The ITV Saturday night show recently returned to our screens with will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson all reprising their roles alongside new coach, Olly Murs.

It was Olly who kicked off last night’s uproar when he tried to join in with star attraction Will, who was singing one of his biggest hits in the shape of The Black Eyed Peas’ Where Is The Love?
Will had been pushed to perform by Jennifer, who said that he ‘owed them’ a song, and, with the audience chanting his name, Will agreed to perform if the band played the tune.
After a few lines, Olly jumped up and joined in, and viewers were less than impressed.
Opinions ranged from finding Olly embarrassing to others bluntly telling him to ‘shut up’, but it wasn’t the end of fans’ anger at the show.
However, some viewers loved it, with one saying Olly was ‘smashing it’ and another calling for a knighthood!
Jennifer also drew criticism when she listened to a performance by Wendi Harriott, a woman who has previously worked as one of Jennifer’s own backing singers.
As Wendi performed Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones, all four coaches seemed tempted, but none pushed their button to pick the singer for their team.
Wendi, who has also worked with Rod Stewart and The Killers, was left to leave the stage without a word, and viewers let Jennifer know what they thought.
One announced that she was fuming, while another even Tweeted ‘shame on you’ to Jennifer.

It all meant that it was an eventful fifth round of the blind auditions for ITV’s hit show, and the anger continued for Olly himself.
He failed to push his button for Paige Young’s performance of Crying In The Club by Camila Cabello, with will asking Paige to join his team.
As Paige told everyone a bit about herself, it emerged that, like Olly, she was from Essex, and Olly pretended to leave.
Olly later Tweeted to say that Paige was ‘great’ and that he was ‘gutted’ that he didn’t pick her.
Let’s hope that The Voice UK can keep up this level of drama next week and all the way to the final!
