Coronation Street fans have a shocking theory that will spell horror for Michelle Connor – her sons could fall in love.
Viewers are convinced that behind the snarking comments that both Ryan Connor and Ali Neeson have a secret hankering for each other.
And when they are forced to share a room next week in Corrie, fans think it could bubble over into a tempestuous romance.
Ali does have form for this after a brief fling with his aunt Carla Connor, and actor Ryan Prescott recently teased a shocking new romance for Ryan.
He told the Mirror how Ryan has his eye on someone in Weatherfield who would be shocking, saying: “Yes indeed, they’ve taken his fancy.

“He quite a bit besotted actually but that’s all I can say.”
He added: “When I got the script I was like ‘Ooh!’
Ryan also revealed there would be emotional drama for his character as well as ‘higher stakes’ storylines.
And fans are convinced of the potential affair too, noting the pair aren’t actually brothers in any way, shape or form.
One wrote: “I could see this happening… they’ve already given us Carla and Alex incest!”
