Corrie fans were left feeling chilled after last night’s visit to the cobbles which showed newcomer Josh Tucker reveal his true, dark colours.
Viewers of the ITV soap already know that the mechanic will go on to rape his new pal David Platt, but so far he’s come across as the average lad next door.

Josh – played by Ryan Clayton – has got his feet well and truly under the table with Weatherfield residents, charming the ladies and suggesting a charity boxing match in honour of his murdered predecessor at the garage, Luke Britton.
But last night, fans were given a chilling glimpse as to what the mysterious stranger is really capable of.
Earlier in the week, Josh had offered to lend David a hand if he wanted to do anything about dodgy Lee Mayhew turning up on the Street.
A shaken Sarah had crumbled into her brother’s arms after catching sight of the man who kidnapped her a few years ago.
Clearly affected by Sarah’s distress, David confided in Josh over who Lee was and why he wasn’t welcome.
Last night the pair teamed up to kidnap Lee and take him back to the garage.
Once there, David left his new BFF alone with Lee – and that’s when he unleashed his dark side.
He brandished a huge spanner at Lee, threatening to maim him, before laughing at his captor’s distress.
It was the first taste of Josh’s sociopathic side – and no one, apart from drug addict Lee – was around to see it.
Fans bombarded Twitter with warnings for David.
“Josh is now the second scariest person in #corrie after you know who,” wrote one viewer.
“Think we can safely say Josh is a bit of a sadist,” observed another.
And a third said: “That Josh is a piggin’ (to use Eva’s favourite word) pyscho, isn’t he?”
In a shocking twist, due to be aired next month, David will become the victim of a serious sexual assault after a night out with Josh.

While Corrie haven’t confirmed that Josh is the culprit, it’s believed he will drug David and then rape him, leaving the crimper traumatised.
The storyline has already caused a lot of controversy before it’s even started, with fans threatening to boycott the soap.
