Emmerdale fans sickened as Lachlan ‘murders’ Rebecca

Did that really just happen?!

| Updated:

Emmerdale fans expecting a quiet trip to the countryside last night, were in for a series of alarming shocks…

There was murder in the Dales – times three! – on Tuesday (17 July) as Lachlan White went on another killing spree.

Viewers know that unhinged Lachlan has already eliminated mum Chrissie, granddad Lawrence and best mate Gerry (and more than likely conman ‘Terry’).

This week, in an apparent bid to up his murder count to double figures, he planned to get rid of Robert Sugden and Liv Flaherty by leaking carbon monoxide gases into Mill Cottage…

However, Lachlan’s deadly plot was thrown into chaos when aunt Rebecca stumbled across her nephew’s sick scheme. But has she paid for the discovery with her life, too?

The evening’s hour-long episode ended with Aaron returning home and finding both Liv and Robert unconscious.

A woodland scene then showed a distressed Lachlan standing by the open boot of his car with a bloody spanner in one hand and Rebecca’s mobile phone in the other.

Viewers are now convinced that Lachlan has claimed another three victims – including another family member!

One wrote: “Omg is Rebecca dead.”

Another said: “Jeez Lachlan, At this rate they’ll be no one left in the village for you to kill!”

One viewer was concerned about the practicalities of murder, pondering: “Not being funny but how the hell is Lachlan going to dispose of 3 bodies??”

And a fair few ITV soap fans compared Lachlan to Corrie killer Pat Phelan, comparing their body counts!

One wrote: “Lachlan is the Pat Phelan of the Dales!”

It’s fair to say that Lachlan can’t possibly get away with his criminal behaviour for much longer…

But will Liv and Robert actually survive the poisoning? And how will Lachlan explain Rebecca’s disappearance?

How should Lachlan leave the Dales – as a free man, in a coffin, or in handcuffs? Leave us a comment on our Facebook page @EntertainmentDailyFix and let us know what you think!
