Neighbours is gearing up for a dramatic season finale, bringing in a blast from the past, in the form of Dakota Davies, played by Sheree Murphy.
Sheree appeared on the Australian soap back in 2014, where she caused chaos for several Ramsay Street residents before fleeing the country after her diamond smuggling ring was discovered.
The show has been filming in London for a season finale arc that seems set to be dramatic, and Sheree has been spotted on the set.
The actress was spotted sharing a scene with Tim Kano, who plays Leo Tanaka, begging the question: what’s Dakota up to this time around?
The scene appears to show the two chatting at an outdoor cafe near Tower Bridge.
Given that in the past Dakota tricked Leo’s father, Paul Robinson, into signing for one of her illegal diamond shipments, before blackmailing him for $10,000, it’s likely the meeting won’t be a particularly cordial one – perhaps Leo’s even after revenge.
Also in London for the shoot are Mavournee Hazel and Olympia Valance – who play Piper Willis and Paige Smith, respectively. Tim has been sharing photos of their time in London on his Instagram account.
Olympia has opened up about the explosive storyline their filming, claiming it’s the best stuff she’s ever filmed: “It is so traumatic and so distressing and so dramatic,” the actress said, before suggesting that there was even a chance her character might not survive.
So far there are no details on what’s brought Dakota back into the lives of the Ramsay Street gang, but it seems sure to mean more upheaval for Paul (played by Stefan Dennis) and his family.
There’ll be drama enough before the show gets to its London special, with Leo set to upset Paul’s relationship with Courtney Grixti (Emma Lane).
Leo’s concerned that the romance is happening too quickly, and that Courtney is more interested in Paul’s wallet than his heart.
