The singer – who’s partnered with pro dancer Giovanni Pernice – is preparing to perform a Tango in tonight’s episode of the dancing show.
But the rehearsals haven’t gone as smoothly as hoped, with Faye ending up bruised and battered after a week of practice.
She took to Instagram to update her fans on her progress, saying she’d ended up in tears after hitting her head on the floor.

“I thought I’d be without injury this week, but I’ve ended up with bruises, again,” she said. “Friction burn on my ankle, lovely.
“And I smacked my head on the floor yesterday and ended up having a few tears about that.”
She went on to say that things had picked up as the week went on, claiming she was ready for her performance.
“So it’s been quite overwhelming, but today’s a better day,” she said. “I feel much better about the whole thing, much clearer. So now it’s time to enjoy it and perform it and really try and nail it.”

The singer’s not the only Strictly contestant to end up injured this week – Kate Silverton is suffering as well.
The newsreader filmed herself on laughing gas after suffering painful rib injury in rehearsal yesterday, but she insists she’ll be well enough to dance tonight.

“I’ve somehow stripped the muscle from my rib on my best dance, on my best dance,” said Kate, who’s set to dance an Argentine Tango on tonight’s show.
She went on to say “I will be dancing tomorrow if it’s the last thing I do.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight.
