Ever imagined what it would be like if the film The Hunger Games came to life?
Well, Russia are doing just that and it will be broadcast online around the world.
The brutal reality TV show, called Game2: Winter, will see 30 participants – half of them women – abandoned in the wild for a nine-month survival test in temperatures of minus 40 degrees or lower.
What on earth?!
Organisers boast the shocking rules: “Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything.”
But one thing isn’t allowed, and that’s guns.
Although they warn the participants: “You must understand that the police will come and take you away.
“We are on the territory of Russia, and obey the laws of the Russian Federation.”
Russian millionaire Yegveny Pyatkovsky who is the brains behind the extreme competition, says: “We will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or raped.
“We will have nothing to do with this. This will be spelt out in a document to be signed by the participant before the start of the show.”
However, contestants are supposedly more likely to freeze to death in the nine months than be murdered.
So why enter such a shocking contest?

The participants, who are given knives and expected to hunt and fish for food, are seeking a £1.3 million prize.
The rules for entering state the contestants must be over 18 and “mentally sane”, they each will pay around £132,000 to take part but some will be selected in an online poll and take part for free.
Contestants can also choose to team up, or try and go at it alone, they can also request items from viewers watching at home, who will donate money for it on the website.
The participants will be watched at all times, but not by a camera crew.
Yegveny said: “There will be no filming crew: the whole area will be dotted with cameras and each participant will be carrying a portable camera with 7-hour life rechargeable battery.”
The brave contenders will be given training but after that they will be on there own.

Yegveny added: “You should also keep in mind that this will be a real forest, with dangerous wildlife and harmful insects.
“Of course, there will be some safety precautions in place, but it would still take about half an hour to reach the area where the show will take place by helicopter.
“There will be no doctors with the participants. If someone gets sick, wounded and realise that he/she can not pass the test, the helicopter will take him/her away to the doctors. Then the participant will quit the game forever.
“Those taking part will be urged to forage and store food before winter in order to survive the cold months.
“In winter, contestants will need to catch fish through ice holes to feed themselves.”
Yegveny believes the show will attract “rich and risky” people craving a new challenge.
