Reality TV personality Ferne McCann was questioned by police after hurling a drink into the face of Love Island’s Adam Collard at the NTAs, according to a newspaper report.
The former TOWIE cast member is said to have rowed with the 22-year-old during Tuesday night’s awards bash before cops were called to the O2 Arena in London, The Sun claims.
Ferne, 28, is reported to have appeared to push the plastic container holding her drink towards Adam’s face during the spat which is also believed to have seen him accuse her of being a “pathetic little [bleep]”.
And while she was not arrested, Metropolitan Police have told the press that an investigation is ongoing. Adam is believed to have made a formal complaint.

It is claimed the incident flared up after personal trainer Adam heard Ferne telling other guests not to mix with him or his girlfriend Zara McDermott during the bash.
He is reported to have told the presenter to “stop bullying” his partner ahead of his later comments.
According to an unnamed source, the incident kicked off because of previous bad feeling between the telly performers.
Tension between Ferne and Zara is thought to have already existed after the ITVBe favourite was accused of seeing the ex of a pal.

An eyewitness is reported to have said: “There has been bad blood between the girls because Ferne got together with Charlie Brake just weeks after splitting with Zara’s mate Ellie Brown.
“But things really escalated last night when Adam heard Ferne slagging off Zara.
“He said some things he regrets but did not expect under any circumstances to have a drink thrown in his face then have it smashed against him.”
A police spokeswoman told The Sun: “An allegation of common assault was made to police by a man, aged in his 20s, following an incident with a woman, also aged in her 20s, at the O2 Arena on Tuesday, 22 January.
“No one was injured during the incident. There has been no arrest. Enquiries continue.”
ED! has contacted representatives for both Ferne and Adam, and the police, for comment.
