New mum Ferne McCann has just revealed a sneak peek of her teeny tiny baby daughter Sunday’s nursery on her Instagram feed.
But as well as receiving some oohs, ahhs and general good wishes the TOWIE and I’m a Celeb star also received some ‘advice’ about her choice of baby bed.
The 27-year-old welcomed her first baby a week ago – one week earlier than expected – and naturally announced the birth and sex on social media.
Her post read: “Welcome to the world my darling. Didn’t expect to see you a week early. I’m so in love & bursting with pride. It’s a girl.”
Here’s the picture that went with it. Altogether now, AHHHH!

But after posting pictures of Sunday’s stylish new room, Ferne was met with some criticism over her baby’s bed.
The picture showed a basic cot containing a couple of soft toys, a blanket and a Poddle Pod – an individual cushion for the baby to sleep on – causing a few of Ferne’s followers to raise their eyebrows.
In a few comments, no doubt meant with good intentions (although no one wants to see the words ‘cot death’ in capitals) Ferne’s fans took it upon themselves to warn the new mum that the type of pod she’d chosen might not be a good choice, relating to a recent study.
But others thought it was a fine choice and commented how much little Sunday will enjoy her new bed.
However, it was the pom pom blanket that caused the biggest stir with fans chomping at the bit to know where it was from.

Luckily, one eagle-eyed follower came to the rescue revealing that the blanket was in fact from Sainsbury’s and costs just £28. Steal!
