There’s yet another soap transfer in the offing, as former Coronation Street star Michelle Holmes is joining Hollyoaks.
Those of you with a good memory will recall she played gobby Rovers barmaid Tina Fowler back in 1989 to 1990.
You may also recognise her as Yvonne Sparrow from BBC One drama Goodnight Sweetheart.
The actress will make her first appearance in the Chester-based drama this week, playing Greta – who will help Scott Drinkwell in his search for his biological family.
Scott – played by Ross Adams – was recently told that he was adopted and he wants to find out his true roots.

She answers the door and is able to fill him in on quite a lot of detail about his mum.
Scott’s having an eventful time at the moment. As well as tracing his family, he’s still trying to scam lawyer James alongside partner in crime Mercedes.
They decide to break into his flat to steal from him so they can pay him back what they owe for their fraud of his credit card!
