Gemma Atkinson has revealed she has a touch of the green-eyed monster over her former Strictly dance partner’s new pairing!
Gemma strutted her stuff with Slovenian pro Aljaz Skorjanec in last year’s competition, and the pair hot-footed their way into the finals.
This year, Aljaz has teamed up with newsreader Kate Silverton – and Gemma is not happy!

The Mirror reports that Gemma went as far as to say she feels like Aljaz is ‘cheating’ on her.
“I’m more jealous of Aljaz dancing with a new celeb than Gorka,” Gemma confessed.
“He got the partner he wanted – I’m happy for him. Seeing Aljaz with someone else is like he’s cheating on me.”
The former Emmerdale actress also revealed a startling fact about her relationship with dance pro Gorka.
They’ve never actually tripped the light fantastic together themselves!
Gemma explained that she had watched Gorka dancing on a cruise and apparently told him: “You’re really good.”
(Er… had she not previously noticed this when they were working together?!)
“He was like, ‘What did you expect?’,” Gemma continued, before revealing:
“It’s because I’ve never really seen him dance. We’ve never danced together.”

Gemma, 33, and 28-year-old Spaniard Gorka started dating after last year’s Strictly ended. Gemma told listeners to her Key 103 Breakfast Show earlier this year that they had previously been subjected to much rumour that they were romantically involved before they ever were.
“During the show we only saw each other at weekends everyone was saying ‘oh they’re together’ but we genuinely weren’t,” she said.”We just went for coffee and stuff on Sundays, not every Sunday, you can’t get to know someone just by seeing them at weekends.”
“It was only when the tour started that we saw each other all the time and we thought oh ok this could work, and it did, and it does so far!”
Aw, sweet! We really do think they need to start dancing together though – even if it’s just round the kitchen at home!
