Gemma Atkinson has surprised her Instagram followers by revealing an impromptu new hairdo.
The actress had been in Manchester for the weekend with boyfriend Gorka Marquez, to see their fellow Strictly star Aston Merrygold perform, when she decided to get a haircut.
The 33-year-old told her fans the image change hadn’t been planned and was instead a result of meeting hair stylist friends for lunch!
She shared a live video of her hair being cut in the salon, and later showed off the result.
“I’ve got a fringe!” she told her 599k followers as she got a lift from her friend, celebrity stylist Cinta Miller.
“As if I’ve just randomly cut a fringe on a Sunday. Went for lunch and came back with a fringe,” she continued.
“That’s what happens when your best friend is a hairdresser, and your best friend’s other best friend has a salon,” Cinta told her.
“I like it. I feel very girly which is a new one for me,” Gemma said.
“You look like Jennifer Aniston!” Cinta told her.
Her fans agreed saying they loved the new look and complimented the Key 103 breakfast host on how much it suited her.

“Wow Gemma you look fabulous,” one wrote beside her video reveal. “Love it! It looks amazing and really suits you!” said another.
“Bold move. It suits you..” wrote a third, while a fourth said, “wow you look even more amazing and beautiful.”
Gemma later shared pictures and live videos of her and Gorka enjoying Aston’s performance, saying it was an amazing show.
It was a busy weekend for the pair, who also went to see Gemma’s Strictly dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, perform at the London Palladium with his wife, Janette Manrara – another Strictly pro.
Gorka, 27, danced with singer Alexandra Burke on the last series, and love blossomed between him and Gemma as they both made it to the final.
They confirmed their relationship weeks later as they spent a holiday together after the Strictly Live tour.
Since then, when they’re not on date nights or chilling out with Gemma’s two dogs, they’ve been in the gym.
The couple have said they love to work out together and regularly share videos of the tough exercises they do with personal trainer “evil Steve.”

Gorka told upfitness.co.uk he loves having a girlfriend who shares his passion for keeping fit.
He said: “It’s great having someone to train with and someone who loves doing what I do in the gym. In the past, I’ve had girlfriends who never wanted to train. But Gemma loves it and she likes to eat healthy too. She takes good care of herself.
“When you have someone who has the same interests as you and who you can share stuff with, it’s nice. Gemma trains hard! She is a machine!”
