Gemma Atkinson has told critics of her parenting to “go [bleep] themselves”.
The former Emmerdale actress and her partner Gorka Marquez welcomed their daughter Mia into the world eight weeks ago and the 34-year-old star has been left infuriated by the unsolicited advice she’s already received on raising her little girl.

She shared a meme on Instagram which read: “On your mark, get set, go [bleep] yourself.”
Alongside the post, she wrote: “She shouldn’t have a dummy.
“It’s not cold enough for a hat.
“I hope you’re breast feeding.
“Get a proper pram.
“Can’t believe you wake her to feed.
“She doesn’t need two blankets.
“She shouldn’t be around the dogs.
“Her heads not supported on that.
“She’s sat too low in the papoose.
“Put mittens on her.
“Can’t believe you went out without her already.”
“Above is just a small list of what’s been said to me on here since having Mia. She’s not even 8 weeks old. (sic)”
But the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star insisted she wasn’t discounting all the advice she was offered.

She added: “I’m absolutely all for getting help and advice! But there’s ways to do it.
“So to those people who seem to be the unqualified experts when it comes to being a mum, the above is for you.
“Print it and hang it on the wall next to your perfect parent award.”
Gemma recently defended having had a cesarean section to deliver Mia after someone joked she’d taken the “easy option”.
She said: “Had I failed? Had I not done it ‘properly’? After a good chat with myself I came to the conclusion that the only ‘proper’ way to have a baby is the way that’s safest for you and your baby. (sic)”
