Dancing On Ice star Gemma Collins is well known for her diva alter-ego ‘The GC’ – and according to her ex, there’s a world of difference between the two.
Gemma’s ex Rami Hawash has opened up about his life with the reality star, claiming it was like living with two different people.
Speaking to Mirror Online, he suggested he would be left wondering whether he’d be dealing with Gemma or The GC from the moment they woke up.
“Gemma Collins is a lovely, sweet person,” he said. “The GC is not.

“I would wake up in the morning and I would look in her eyes. In a second I knew if it was sweet, funny Gemma who would make me breakfast and a nice cup of tea… or whether it was The GC.”
Gemma and Rami dated for three years, before getting engaged over Christmas in 2013. But six months after the pair moved in together they called it quits.
Rami points to moving together as the beginning of the end for the two – saying that Gemma’s demands about redecorating his two-bedroom flat were a red flag.

“She hated my magnolia walls and wanted ‘diamond white,’ the most expensive paint in the store,” he said. “She wanted it done while she was on holiday, so my uncle worked four 14-hour days to do it.”
But she wasn’t easily satisfied – when she returned to look at the new paint job, all she had to offer him was criticism.
Rami also claimed that her clothes and make up took over the bulk of the small flat – with a whole bedroom serving as her wardrobe.
With her TOWIE make-up routine leading to 4am starts in the morning, and expensive holidays and trips out, Rami called time on the engagement.
But as demanding as The GC is, Rami insists the Gemma underneath is sweet and funny – and the pair are still friends.
