Gemma Collins has vowed to bounce back after being savaged for her Dancing On Ice debut performance, insisting she is taking part on the ITV series for “all the curvy girls”.
The 37-year-old TOWIE cast member’s routine was blasted as being “uncomfortable to watch” by Jason Gardiner – but it seems the acerbic judge’s comments have failed to faze the Essex icon.
Shrugging off Jason’s feedback – which also included a barbed reference to her time on the rink being like “a French and Saunders parody” – Gemma also said she is thinking about opening her own skating class.
Speaking on This Morning earlier today, she said: “Do you know what, do I really care? I’m the GC baby, I’m doing it for all the curvy girls out there that probably never thought they’d be able to ice skate.

Fans were also narked at Jason’s remarks, believing the roasting he dished out was far from fair.
Dressed in a sparkling gold outfit, Gemma’s routine with pro partner Matt Evers to Beyonce’s Crazy In Love.
She exceeded expectations with an attempt at the splits and an unexpected hair flick, racking up 16 points out of 40.

“I just want to say, the flick weren’t make to be in it,” she said.
“I got carried away I thought I was Beyoncé! Do you know what bring it on – lets do some more.”
Following her performance, Jason told her: “You talk a big talk but you don’t back it up. It reminded me of a French and Saunders parody.
“This was uncomfortable to watch. You haven’t got any technique.”
