Following her eventful Dancing On Ice stint, Gemma Collins is set to appear on another primetime talent show – The X Factor!
The TOWIE star is reportedly gearing up to star in the talent show’s new celebrity spin-off, Celebrity X Factor.
Producers are said to be in talks to sign the 38-year-old after she drew so much attention on the ITV skating show.
It’s thought that Gemma would draw a big audience after viewers tuned in to see her weekly dramas on Dancing On Ice, from her rows with judge Jason Gardiner to her big tumble on the ice.
A source told The Daily Star: “We want big and exciting stars and the GC is popular and we reckon she makes entertaining viewing.”
But it’s not just the GC’s diva antics that have attracted makers of the show. They are convinced she’s a good singer, too.
The insider continued: “More important, she can sing.”
The combination of Gemma and straight-talking X Factor boss Simon Cowell could certainly make interesting viewing.
But show bosses think 59-year-old music mogul Simon could handle the GC after so long in the business.
“Simon has handled many divas over the years with the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Mel B, so we reckon he will be able to deal with this Essex one,” added the source.

Gemma has made no secret of the fact she is a keen singer.
She recently revealed she is set to collaborate on a song with music producer Naughty Boy, who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé.
“He wants to make a track with me,” Gemma said on The Jonathan Ross Show at the weekend (9 March).
The pair hit it off when they met at the Brit Awards last month, and Gem shared an Instagram video of her singing to the producer.
